Yes, that will drain the battery faster.

Sort of comes under this section and the mobile section, but the same concepts are applied.

 

I am overclocking and undervolting my phone (Sony Xperia S) and I have three clock speeds (192, 310, 384MHz) that run on the minimum voltage (775mV). Will my phone use more power if its minimum clock is at 384MHz vs 192MHz when they both run on the same voltage?
