Personal VPN (Dedicated Server)

Does anyone know if it would be possible to use a dedicated server (located somewhere else) as a personal VPN?

 

Server specs.

 

Intel Xeon E5-1620

64GB DDR3 ECC RAM

2x2TB HDDs

1Gbps

Windows Server 2012 R2

 

Below is an image I created to show how I want to use my server

(The server is used for other purposes also, so it is not a waste of money for a VPN)

 

 

The reason I want to be able to do this is more for DDoS prevention and other purposes, my server has great anti DDoS.

Can anyone help explain how one can do this? Many thanks.

Yeah, you can install openvpn on it or pptpd

 

 

EDIT: Oh wait, not sure how to do this on windows server.

I have OpenVPN servers on my home server, an Australian VPS and a VPS in the USA. Pretty handy for geoblocks or download restrictions.

 

Edit: I could even play Fifa 15 before NZ release by connecting to my USA vpn.
