power supply fan problem

Go to solution Solved by Daigo,

Yes you can but the "perfect" thing to do its to weld the new fan or use the existing wiring on the PSU reusing the header. ( if the fan ifs not simply joined to the pcb )

Like in this video but the Seasonic 750w don't really help to identify the exact model you have, so if you bought it recently just RMA it.

Hi

My power supply on my 2nd computer is really bothering me because it is running really loud. I have a very good fan lying around which i might use for my power supply. I dont have a soldering iron, so my question is: Can you run a different fan in your power supply which is not plugged into your psu directly.

My PSU is a seasonic 750W

Thanks in advance
