Razer Sphex Alternative?

I've been using the Razer Sphex for a few years now and some things i did to it when i first got it are really wearing it down. I want to buy another one soon.

 

Buuuut, while I'm shopping around, anyone know of any mouse pads similar to the Sphex?

I am not sure if there are many now a-days that are similar to it.  I can say that universally acclaimed and loved mouse-pads by people are the  Corsair MM600 which is both a rough aluminum and smooth aluminum mousepad, it goes both ways as you can flip it.  Steel Series QCK comes in all shapes and sizes and is a cloth that is considered beloved by many and the Aorus Thunder P3 is noted as being one of the most comfortable and Awesomesauce Network / Kyle from Newegg did a review recently on it... here...

The P3 also comes in -many- sizes, but that one is the full desk-size one which seems -really- nice.

I'll be sure to take a look at these! Also, I personally really like hard mouse mats. I've used the Sphex as well as a cloth mat from steelseries and I don't like the cloth all that much

Looks great but my setup has one of those drawers for the keyboard and mouse. I'm looking for something around the size of the Sphex (it fits almost perfectly on the drawer)

I generally grab the same brand pad as my mouse because you know the pad surface and optics will be the best possible match, in reality it doesn't matter for the most part but the Logitech pads are nice, I like hard tops so I use the G440 but there is a cloth G240. They are 3mm thick though if that is a concern for you, I only mention it because it looks like yours is a "just the plastic" type.

If u don't know the Sphex, it's like a sticker with a mouse pad surface on the top. No rubber on the bottom yet stays in place and is almost flush with the desk

Not sure how good it is but it seems to be the same style mouse pad but it is cheaper and there are 2 different kinds (speed and control which are probably hard and soft)
