nothing thing to do is install a custom kernel that allows overclocking (if there is one) and see what you can get antutu too. My G2 can OC from 2.26 to 2.8 GHZ

What's the ART runtime like? Anyone got a link to the best guide for rooting mine and installing art?

I tested ART on my Galaxy Nexus just when 4.4 came out. It did feel like the apps started a bit bit quicker (might be false scenes) but some apps crashed or was not compatible. I must make a new test now. I wonder, what happened with ART? It seems that no phones have it as standard.

Edit: It looks like CM still view ART as highly experiential. Read for a clearey wiew of the improvments and problems.

I'm still running on my core i7-920

I just tested with art now. First impression is that the apps do start faster. No problems so far. Thanks for reminding me of this feature. But art is just one of thing. Everytime I flash with CM, my phone or pad, just feel better. But some apps don't work. If you use HBO I would think twice before I install CM. I hate em for it but you need cloak root etc to make it hide that you are root for HBO.

You can still root with "bootloader unlock allowed: no" just you won't be able to unlock the bootloader. You just have to use a rom with the stock Sony kernel. I have the same issue with my Xperia Z, it is still rooted with a custom rom.
