What is the typical temps of a 4670k stock clock and voltages with a hyper 212evo? On a burn test I am averaging 75 degrees and 45 degrees at idle. Now I know the 212 isn't a crazy cooler but does that seem a little high? Seems closer to an intel stock cooler in terms of performance rather than the 212.

shouldn't go past 60

unless you are using Prime95. Then 70ish is ok, though your airflow seems to be suboptimal.

If you haven't overclocked and assuming your ambient temp is average, I would say thats pretty high, re-mount the cooler and try again

I figured as much, not too sure what went wrong. I will see if that helps. It's running at 65C while running around bf4 test range. Too high.

That does seem like it's a little too high.  The temperatures should be lower, however that much depends on your ambient and case temperatures.

Things you can try include remounting the cooler and make sure you apply the correct amount of thermal paste while doing so, make sure your case airflow is good and while you are at it clean off any dust that's inside your PC.

BEHOLD! IN ALL OF MY INFINITE IDIOCY I GIVE YOU THE CULPRIT. Yeah... im stupid I didn't peel it off the heat sink... Burn tests dropped down to 55C. Now I will try to hit 4.2Ghz at the very least until I can get my liquid cooling replaced. Thank you for the replies anyway and I hope that gave you a laugh at least.

Haha, brilliant!

I'm glad you've fixed it now.

So at 1.275V and 4.4ghz I am getting about 84C max in a burn test. When I was liquid My temps were about 65. Should it be stable at the same Voltage even though the temps are higher? I not too experienced in overclocking.

seems fine to me. 1.275V is quite a bit and Haswell runs hot. Then again, I never had an Evo

It should still be stable.

My chip isn't a fantastic overclocker. I can't even get 4.5ghz at 1.38V. But 4.4ghz is stable at 1.275V but I am just waiting to RMA my h110.
