If I will do this, It will be around december. Do you guys think it's worth it selling my 780 for around 250-300 euros and buying 2 970's and maybe a new motherboard and case with that? Or am I better off buying another 780 (Msi 780 lightning) for 380 euros? I have to mention that my GPU is faulty since it's unstable at stock and makes the display drivers crash almost instantly if not tweaked in afterburner

OR would a better bet be buying a single 980 and a 5930k with that? (Probably not tho)

Honestly if you own a 780 already they're really cut down in price check Amazon and online stores/eBay.

A 970 is also a good deal tbh, they're only like 300 euros and I THINK they outperform a 780. I mean, why not sell my 780 and buy 2 970's then though

Because a 780 does not sell for anything anymore currently they're on sale and on eBay for around £220-250 here they're going for ridiculous prices.

I bet I could find people buying a 780 for 250-300 euros, still. Even if I'd sell it for 200 euros, I think it's still a better deal buying 2 970s

I don't have a reference card

you only have a non ref cooler

the 780 lightning is fully non ref

but still go with the 970, as it beats the 780 and its cheaper then that 780 lightning

I was thinking the same, but my card comes factory OC'd though, it's the GHz edition of gigabyte.

Look around 780 Lightning is actually damn cheap in most areas now Nvidia made the manufacturers cut all the card prices for the ones they have left.

It would be kinda a dick move to sell a broken GPU. that said go for 970 SLI it's the best setup currently available all thing considered.

I know it's a dick move, that's why I will mention it in the description when I'm selling it, and also explain them how to overclock it even a little bit while remaining stable
