Hi guys, just wondering if some one could help me on an issue I'm having, as it's been driving me crazy for months!

Basically for some reason my flash player keeps crashing and not playing videos and freezing web pages that use flash in any way, which turns out is a lot.

So I keep it disabled/uninstalled and sacrifice Youtube etc, now I have had this problem in the past a few years ago and the simple

"Go to plugins - Disable the built in Chrome flash plugin" worked and that was that.

Now that doesn't seem to work any more, here is a list of things I have tried that have failed (some of these have fixed the problem for 5-10 minutes):

  • Uninstalling/Reinstalling Flash (latest version)
  • Installing previous versions of Flash
  • Uninstalling/Reinstalling Google Chrome
  • Only using the built it Chrome plugin
  • System Restore (Unfortunately the earlies restore point was after the problem had occurred)
  • Using Firefox (same issues arose)

I was just wondering if there was anything I could do without having to reinstall Windows entirely, maybe there is a fix I have missed out on?

Anyway your input would be fantastic because I am so sick of it at this stage! I can't watch Linus :'(
