Laptop under 1000$

I want to buy a laptop for my sister, to be use in school and mostly mild work/games. Anyone have any idea which one is good that come with at least 8GB RAM?

It's somewhat customize able before you buy it.

ah thanks, but I forgot to mention that I'm not in US, I'm living in Thai, the price here is pump up about 50-100$ so anything >1000$ is out of question

I was going to suggest the y40 but it seems lenovo really lacks product for Thailand

Lenovo Y50-70 Touch

I7-4700

IKR :( Seem like the good choice here is to buy a random laptop with 4GB ram that can extend to 8GB then buy another 4GB stick, I was worrying about the warranty thing but it's probably ok

What about Lenovo Y410P, is that a good laptop? The spec seem nice to me

What about Lenovo Y410P, is that a good laptop? The spec seem nice to me

Sorry for late reply the y410p is pretty good for what I can tell in your area its probobly one of the better laptops for the price but it is a little thick
