Omg I hate google+

So it's like 11pm and I have a headache and there is just the simpliest thing I'm trying to do but there is no way to do it...

Do you guys know how to change a merged contact to show the contact profile picture you set on your phone instead of the google plus face in hangouts?

it's something so simple but i have no idea how to do it or if it's even possible.

Basically when I merge my SMS and hangouts into one convo it basically makes their google+ profile picture the picutre. and I want to us the one I put on their contact on my phone instead of the google+ pp because I like that one more and it's more classy.

Is there anyways to do this? It's really starting to annoying me.

Try Facebook. It's way better than Google+

I try that but sometimes using facebook is awkward and it doesn't ahve as many feature like video calling like hangouts.

It does have video calling.

Yep, in chat windows, look up "video" icon :)
