BlackBerry Q10

So...

I have been waiting for BBQ10 for a while, and it is apparently out in Canada and now on pre-order in the US and other countries.

I'm very excited for this device, been waiting for a BB keyboard phone for a while now.

 

Replying to work emails is very difficult on a touch screen phone.


What are your thoughts? Are keyboards on a phone still a thing? Anyone own it and recommend it?

I went from a Blackberry Bold 9000 to a Blackberry Z10. I use it for my e-mailing, and it works just fine. The BB10 OS is very intutitive with typing on the screen, and after some adjustments, I'm totally comfortable and relatively fast typing on my Z10 compared to my Bold 9000. As per usual, your experiences will vary.

If you do need to write emails a lot, the keyboard would be great. The hardware seems alright, although I like the Z10 more (and the Bold 9900, for that matter).

 

The OS is alright, I suppose.

I have a touch screen android phone now as it is, and a keyboard phone is something I honestly miss the efficiency on it was so good, and considering blackberry always get it right, this atleast deserves patiance on waiting for one :).
