looking for a VPN for linux

technovore

^ as the title suggests, I'm looking for a VPN thingy.

I'm at school and they're blocking steam on the network(only specific ports are allowed here).

I'm using Linux(ubuntu 14.04) becuase I'm a total badass.

any ideas? preferably free.

thanks

Treat your local grammar nazi nicely and he might teach you a thing or two. (Note that I'm Belgian and not a native English speaker.)

Well I would suggest you to avoid Free VPN as they are not secure and big chance of your data being stolen and sell out to third party.. although there are lots of free VPN such as Hotspot shield, CyberGhost, Tunnelbear but if you are not a good IT person you can't install VPN on linux easily.. However here is a step by step guide of setting up vpn on linux you can follow the step but you need paid vpn service if you can afford little amount I would recommend you PIA and PureVPN they are very cheap and compatible with linux ..

thanks!
