3D Drawing

Go to solution Solved by Guest,

The only thing that springs to mind would be Google Sketchup..?

Drawing in 3D though, I don't get how you would because it's more of a precise thing..

What type of things are you looking to draw? For drawing components/machines/cars etc you want a 3D modelling program like Solidworks/Pro-E etc (fairly expensive). For everything else, buildings, inside of buildings etc you want something like google sketchup. I have no experience with those type of programs so I can't help.

Obviously you can draw components in something like google sketchup as well but solidworks etc would be much better at it.

Solidworks on the left (more for creating a component), Google sketchup on the right (more for creating a scene).

For designing houses etc, you don't want to use 3D modelling software like solidworks etc. There may be better versions of Google Sketchup out there. Have a look around. Keep in mind the availability of online tutorials as well. Happy sketching.
