SteelSeries H Wireless

Hey guys so I'm thinking of getting the SteelSeries H Wireless headphones. I am currently using Sennheiser HD518s and a random Logitech headset around my neck for the mic (you can imagine how annoying this is). I will be using it for watching movies and playing games on PC and Xbone. I normally watch movies/play xbone from my bed and the cable on my 518s are just the perfect length so a wireless solution would be much better.

I would like to know if anyone has first hand experience on the sound quality of both headphones. As I am no audiophile, if the SteelSeries are anything close to the 518s I am happy. Probably the most important thing though, is the fact that I have weird shaped ears and the only headphones that have ever fit me comfortably are the Sennheisers. So again, if anyone has experience with them both I would love to hear your experience. I don't want to spend $300 on a set that will end up in my closet because they aren't comfy.

Cheers.

Well you could get a modmic and a astro mix smp to make them compatible for only 150$ or so, or you could get cable extentions as the mic om the h wireless is fairly bad

If it's the perfect length, why spend nearly 4x the dough just for wireless? I'm confoosid.

EDIT: Relevant

It's just irritating having the cable there, I can't move at all. I've already bent the 3.5mm jack by accidentally tugging it while it was plugged in. Also I've been wanting wireless headphones for a while and now that I have an xbone it just makes sense to get a pair that will work easily with pc and xbone.

Thanks for that link also.

I'd rather just spend the extra $100 and get the wireless functionality out of it haha.

Thanks for the input guys, not going to make a decision right away. Just wanted some opinions. :)

So, the cable is clearly not the perfect length, then. I'd get an extension for $5 or whatever and call it good. Spend your Benjamins on an SSD or several Minecraft Ghast plushies.

I will warn you, that if the steelseries wireless have the same earcups as their 7H version, any odd shaped ears are not in for a good time. Unfortunately i can't say much about the wireless' quality from personal experience, but if your no audiophile judging from sound quality comparisons from their 9H and their wireless it would likely sound fine.
