Do you guys a very good software to recover some files I deleted not more than a week ago?

They were on the desktop and I deleted them, I did a little work with one friend and I gave him the files, then I asked if I could delete them, he approved, so I moved them to the trash. Now he needs them -.- but the trash is empty and I don't know how to find them.

I tried Recuva but didn't work for me.

Assuming you're using windows with restore points enabled, there's this useful feature called volume shadow copy.

To retrieve the file, right click on desktop folder (you can find it under C:\windows\yourusername\desktop) and select 'properties' then select the 'previous versions' tab. It should show you previous backed up versions of that folder.

I hope this helps :)

I did know about that but unfortunately I didn't enable it, cause I never delete my important files. This is an exception only because the files were not mine and I had the permission to delete them, and my friend is stupid. Thanks though.
