Hello Everyone,

So I built a new $1800 dollar computer in the beginning of August and didn't have enough money until my next paycheck to buy things like peripherals and other cooling stuff. I already had a monitor, mouse, and keyboard. I have a 4790k and an r9 290, currently running the stock cooler on the 4790k (lol) and its not doing that badly. I won't be over clocking but I would like to know what I should get for a cooler. I like the look of a closed loop radiator, like the h100i or h80 from corsair. But I don't need the kind of performance that comes with a dual fan radiator. I wouldn't mind a nice noctua NH-U14S or something though. Suggestions?

Please don't rinse your memory

If your not overclocking then the stock cpu cooler will do just fine. But if you want a cooler then a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO should be enough.

Definitely this. Don't spend too much on something "you won't take advantage of". The Hyper 212 Evo performs pretty well for it's price and for what you need.

As I'm guessing saving money would be a good idea, try to spend what you'll save with the Hyper 212 Evo with fans for your case that'll definitely help cool down the CPU and GPU.

CPU: Intel Core i7-4790k | CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 | Motherboard: ASUS Sabertooth Z97 MARK 1 | Memory: Kingston HyperX FURY 16GB 1866MHz | GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 4GB Windforce

Storage: Samsung 840 EVO | PSU: CM Silent Pro 720W | Case: Phanteks Enthoo Luxe | Headset: Corsair Vengeance 2100 | Keyboard: Logitech G710+ | Mouse: Razer DeathAdder Chroma
