speakers not working

Hi.

my speakers stopped working 
it's a microlab 2.1 

the 2 satellites are working on their own when i connect them individually to my dac  but subwoofer doesn't work.
and when i connect the 2 satellites to the sub there is no sound coming out neither the sub nor the satellites.
I've opened up to see if there are some capacitors that had gone bad or something but no.
and the sub turns on i can hear the pop in when i connect it and there is a green light indicating that it is working.
so if the sub stopped working why are the satellites aren't working while connected to the sub?

is it possible that the internal amp has died?
and if so is there a way to fix it? or just throw it away.
