Battlefield 3 and 4 are both good games to play at 1440p. I still remember the amazment I had playing BF3 at 1440p at 60fps for the first time, then the same again at seeing BF4 at 1440 at 110FPS. remember to try to OC your monitors refresh rate :D that 780 will be going above 60 alot of the time.

Depends. Are you testing the benefits of higher resolutions? If yes, try something like Metro or Crysis. They (As far as I know) scale pretty well to resolution changes. Dirt 3, I hear, also scales well.

Just try any 3D game, and you should have an idea.

If you have an Nvidia card I believe there is settings within the Nvidia control panel, I've never done that before so I cant help you much there. However if you have AMD it is slightly more complicated but I've done it and I'm running with it now.

http://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thread-Custom-Resolution-Utility-CRU

Those are links to the two pieces of software needed to OC you're refresh rate on AMD.

All you need to do is run the patcher, open CRU select your display, click edit, raise the refresh rate slightly, restart. Repeat the last two steps until weirdness and issues occur with your display, then lower it slightly and you will have a good monitor OC. I got 110Hz out of my X-Star :D. I would also recommend spreading the word about monitor overclocking, not enough people know about it and do it. I mean you can potentially double your refresh rate for free.
