Hi all

So I have two drives in my system

One SSD and a HDD

How ever my harddrive which is a 3TB baracuda is not

showing up in the bios or in diskmanger in Windows 7

The hard drive is connected to the Intel chip set on my Asus Maximus VI formula

powered by a Corsair 860 using all stock cables?

I don't think the the drive is dead sue to the fact I can feel it spin on start up

I have tried changing the cables to to see if they were the problem nope

Tried different sata ports nope

What should I do next?

if you have tried different sata data cable, sata power cable and plugin into a different port on the motherboard. then i would say it's a dead HDD :'(

you can always (if you able) try the hdd in another pc or dock to double check.

Win 10 Pro 64bit| Intel i5-4670k| Corsair H100i| ASUS Maximus VI GENE| 2x8GB PC3-14900 Corsair Vengeance Pro Red| MSI GeForce GTX 1070 | SanDisk 240GB Extreme Pro SSD| WD 3TB Red | WD Black 3tb | Corsair Obsidian 350D| Corsair AX760 | Dust |

Unfortunately, I would have to say that your drive is most likely dead. Sorry.
