hello,

my psu of my pc is the RM1000 from corsair. but it is a new psu its only 3 months old. but the problem is that i cant tel if its properly being cooled because it has to zero fan feature. i think it gets kind a hot, and i think that is has something to do whit my pc becuase when im rendering and useing my gpu at 100% and my cpu at a 100% my pc freezes compleetly even when i push on capslock the light on my keyboerd wont change.

asn the sero fan feature is only 0 rpm at a load under the 40% load of the 1000W (that is 400 watt). so if i calculate how much power i need tho drain at full load that would bee around (amd r9-290  ) max 380watt, amd fx-8350 max 160 watt and 50 watt for the rest of my system (hdd ssd ram ect.) i sould be useing 590watt. and that is more then 400 watt. can some help my whit this ?

Your CPU might be overheating, not your PSU. Check your temps using RealTemp and consider investing in some better cooling. Another thing to try is turning off GPU render just to see what happens.

Also, your system sould not be using 590 watts since that's just the max number listed on the box.
