Could you please make diagram of your loop? This not only helps us understand what you want but it also helps you to understand what you want better and makes it easy to spot potential flaws in a loop.

To do this simply grab a 2D side on snap of your case. (Just type your case name into google images and scroll down a bit till you find one, it should be there.) Then go to a photo editing program and simply put rectangles where you would like to place your radiators, blocks, reservoirs, pumps and tubing. For blocks use blue, for radiators use red and anything else use grey and for tubing use orange/brown lines with an arrow to point out the intended flow direction of your loop. There is no need to put fans in. This forum has an upload function or you can use an image sharing site and embed the picture into your post. This is an example of this from my personal loop: http://i.imgur.com/MynbfCp.jpg

We can get into the specific parts once you do that.

Also, an ATX bridging tool is a waste of money. It is very very easy to bridge the power supply. Nothing to be afraid of.

what case?

what system Intel or AMD? overclock?

to be honest, i hate saying this, but the H80 would be better if that is the case layout.

if proceeding with custom loop order would be

res->pump->rad-> CPU->res

cuts down on back-n-forth on hose to create shorter runs.

use a better fan than the sickleflow, spectre pro LED for a better fan at least.

since trying to use a LED, use the Raystorm and the RED led for illumination of CPU block.

Get a bay res and pump combo and mount the 120mm radiator at the back.

will a pump res combo with 400l/h be good enough or should i op for a 800l/h pump?

Any Laing pump is fine. Pick laing for the best reliability and performance.

Its best if you pick the parts yourself rather than using a kit but yes.

i'd deffo vote against the alphacool res. noisy, can't fill 100%, fill-port is lower than top

and mounting is pish...

i'd opt for the bay reservoir and use a pump/pump top to keep the vibration to a minimum

and remotely mount the pump/pump top. if not, you will not like the racket it makes..
