I hear it's more intensive than you think.... Not from a reliable source though. I fear I'll do the same thing I do with all games, I bought it, downloaded it..... Aaaaand, I'll probably never play it. It also has long load times for non-SSD users

I am good at computer

Spoiler

I heard it was pretty difficult at times, but I'm in for a challenge. Watched a few people playing it on YouTube, seems like it can get overwhelming but it looks like if you have your spells arranged properly you can do some serious damage.

I don't really have that problem, if I buy a game I play it and beat it. Then I start another. I never buy another game until I beat the one that I bought previously. I won't play more than two games at once. Keeps me from not playing games I bought. I also don't have ADD so that probably helps.  ;)

I installed it on my WD Blue, they are good for 200 m/b reads so load times shouldn't be too bad.

I meant hardware intensive, who cares about gameplay anymore anyways, devs don't :P

Oh, well I would assume so because the graphics look pretty decent, and there's a lot of going on the screen at once. But I don't think my 780 will be defeated by an Indie game.

I've played it in alpha a bit and I've played about 4 hours the release version.

The game looks very pretty. It actually runs rather well if you are willing to turn down few settings.

For gameplay, the levels are fairly linear but there are some side areas for loot and extra arenas to gain even more loot. The combat is rather intensive. You have to be careful about your opponents positions, It's very easy for them to surround you and beat you down. And on the basis of the first level boss fight I have to say that they might be very annoying. It took very long to take it down and a lot of attempts.

Spell crafting is very much a stat game. You make what serves your play style. And to be good at it the game requires you to have a good understanding at it. This is definitely love hate part of the game.

Not much more to say. The game feels slow to play, the gameplay and progression. Your movement is slow and the combat takes planning. And you'll be doing larger more difficult fights several times. That just adds to the feeling of slowness.

But overall when you win fights(especially the bigger ones) it gives you very much the feeling of being a bad ass battlemage. I don't think it's the most awesome 10/10 game but it's rather fun.
