Does 2007 Macbook Pro support USB Booting?

Go to solution Solved by 79wjd,

Update: Just had a very pleasant online chat with Apple tech support. Seeing as the computer is about 7 years old he had to look it up, but I got an answer within 5-10 minutes.

Oh how I love Apples customer service.

Yes, usb-booting is possible.

Anyone know if the 2007/2008 (pre-unibody) Macbook Pro supports USB booting (for doing a fresh OS install)?

Why don't you go ahead and post the answer here and mark the topic as answered?
