Could I make a build with this processor for school to browse the internet and Netflix streaming? Under the name of the processor it says: ADA2800AEP4AX. Going off this website, http://www.cpu-world.com/info/id/AMD-K8-identification.html, this says that the processor is a single core on socket 754. Even if this could be a feasible build for what I want, wouldn't it be too expensive to buy parts?

I think it would be cheaper to just get a new PC all together... unless you have most of the old rig together and it's not just the CPU.

That really sucks because I was given a lot of parts and this processor wasn't even in the right socket on the motherboard. Oh well, off to the junk box I presume.

What you're looking here is early Pentium 4 performance. It would not do well even Web browsing IMO, since it's such-and-such old platform.

I'm still using an Athlon 64 3000+... as a keychain
