Is this PC Build adequate?

So recently, Ive deciced to get into building a PC for numerous reasons. So far I have put together two tigs, One includes an intel processor and the other one runs an AMD athalon x4 760k. Here are the pcpickpart

Depends on your purpose for the pc, if it is gaming then it's fine, but meh for video editing/rendering

My current rig for entertainment/gaming: i5 4570 3,2GHz; MSI B85M-E45; ZOTAC GTX760 AMP!; 8GB (2x4GB) by Kingston; Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200rpm; Corsair 200R, Corsair VS650; Dell U2312HM, Samsung DVD R/W optical drive; CM Devastator; Corsair MM400 gaming pad

I'd go with a z97 board with the pentium. you'll want to overclock.
