I chose to buy the Corsair K70, as many of you on the forum suggested. I wanted to ask what is the difference between the M40 and the M45? I've seen posts such as "more customisable sensor" and I don't know what that means. Is it just about the DPI? Anyways, the M40 is $45 and the M45 is $55. Is the $10 extra (which is quite a bit for me) worth it? Thank you for your help :)

Why did you have to specify your age like that?

Hello, my name is Adrian and I am 13 years old. I've been doing work around the house and have saved up some money. I chose to buy the Corsair K70, as many of you on the forum suggested. they are basically the same just the m45 has a better sensor, so if they are similar price get the m45

They both have a "flawless" sensor. The big difference is the DPI settings. On the M40, you can only choose from 800, 1600, 3200 and 4000 dpi options, while on the M45 you can customize it from 50 to 5000 in 50 dpi increments. So if you need more DPI fine tuning, get the M45.
