just ordered a SSD

So as the topic says i just ordered a ssd. So wondering if there is anything i need to do bios or is it just plug and play like HD. Its a 240gb v300 kingston. And i am useing a asus p6t mb.

My rig.... cpu i7-920 , MB asus p6t se , RAM 8gigs , GPU evga 760 sc , Case antec 900, western digital 2x500 gigs hhd , PSU  antec 800w , Display syncmaster 2233rz , Cooling antec kulher h20 620 ,  keyboard / mouse / headset    G15 keyboard , g500 mouse , Razor megladon headset

You may need to partition it, though it may come partitioned already. (I've not had any experience with SSDs sadly..)

If like new hard drives they come un-partitioned, sometimes un-formatted. (If I'm wrong then basically just ignore everything I have said in this thread)

so when i install win7 on it will format it and what not yea?

Plug and play like HDD`s.

do you still need to put like your page file and other just random things on hard drive still or does that matter anymore cause i remenber reading that when ssd first came out so its less space taken up on the drive

Ah, when you install windows on it you won't need to partition it or anything.
