Overclocking a i7 4770

So ive heard it be done, im willing to take a challange.

So ive heard it be done, is it the same processes as overclocking the xeon that linus did for edzle

I would think in need a new motherboard, my dell z87 one does not have overclocking options in the bios

I would put a hyper 212 evo on it

It can be done, but you won't be able to OC it enough to warrant a new cooler. Though, just get the Hyper 212 EVO anyways, it's a really nice cooler for little money.

yeah its a cooler dell put on it and im not sure how good it is

Is it the 4770 or the 4770k? If it's not the k version then overclocking it will be extremely difficult if not impossible.
