problem new motherboard

hello

 

build my new pc some weeks ago with maximus vii hero 

 

the problem is i have set post delay to 2 sec in bios the asus logo of the motherboard when you can pres to get in bios but it takes 10-12 seconds 

 

but when i first builded the pc the 24 pin wasnt deep enough in so the pc going on off on off several times then it shuts down i pressed start buttun no power i looked in the pc i see the 24 wasnt deep enough; so i put it in correct pc starts so everything works fine exept that thing, i set post delay to 2 sec in bios but it takes 10-12 secs 

 

should i get a new motherboard ? can i have damage something ? 

ps i have warrenty until 2017
