So its my first build. I've got all my parts set up except for the aftermarket fans i want to install on the Kraken x61. so yeah my question is do i use the:

- Noctua NF-A14 Industrial PPC 140mm 2000RPM PWM Fan

- Noctua NF- A14 Industrial PPC 140mm 3000RPM PWM Fan

- Noctua NF-A14 PWM 140mm Fan

I want the best performance without my system sounding like a jet taking off.

Here is my parts list.

Thank You

They're both all really really quiet. For the industrial fans you might want to get a inline resistor so that you can reduce the RPM to something more reasonable, maybe 500?

Would the Noctua 3pin Low Noise Adapter be what you're talking about?

There are a lot of different ones out there, just get whatever works and is good value. Your motherboard may even allow you to control the fan speeds, so check that out too.

ill just use the motherboard to control the fans. thanks for that. also do u have any recommendations to improve/improve value to my build? im trying to keep the overall cost under $3000 but if i can go cheaper i would like that.

Personally? I'd go with an AMD 8350 and a R9 290X.

AMD is usually cheaper than Intel for the same performance, but consequently has much higher heat output. Your case should be able to deal with that, though I'm not so sure about your noise levels...

I think corsair fans are good enough, and if you're using them in your system already having 2 more won't add much to the sound (since they'll be making as much noise as they do anyways)

Oh! Your SSD could be swiched with the MX100. Not quite groundbreaking performance, but quite a bit cheaper, and maybe forgo the HDD for now until you get enough to cover another HDD? 256GB for $110 is hard to beat.

I've decided to stick with the 4790k as its is significantly newer and has a higher overclock speed. and ive also decided to stay with the 780 as its seems to be more reliable than the 290x which compensates the price. I've gone with the SP140s for the radiator as they received good reviews. and with the ssd ive gone with the M550 as it outperforms the MX100. I've payed a bit more and gone for the 256gb model.

Not a good idea to replace the stock fans of one of the quietest AIO coolers.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

I was not sure if the performance was as good as aftermarket fans. I you have had experience with this cooler can you please tell me how well it performs / should perform under a slight overclock? thanks.

I don't follow the logic. It seems to me that one can always change fans if and when it has been established that stock performance is not acceptable. (Noctua fans are actually quite noticeable at higher rpm, as are most fans.)

You can peruse the hard data at http://www.hardocp.com/article/2014/07/10/nzxt_kraken_x61_aio_liquid_cpu_cooler_review/3#.U_NzwY10yUk. I am not aware of any hard data comparing performance of stock and aftermarket fans on the X61.

Yeah. Ill go along with the stock fans for a while and if i dont like the performance, ill try different fans. thanks for the advice.
