I currently own 12GB of memory - Mix and matched by Dell (it was in a prebuilt and I used it in my own rig) So I don't know the exact brand name.

I want to upgrade to 16GB, And I need to replace the two 2GB sticks with 4GB ones. (4x4GB)

However, I'm not sure what exactly works with what, do I need the same latency or are there other factors that must be matched as well? They are both 1600Mhz and CAS 11 Latency.

Here are some pics for more info:

I want to know if a kit like this would work. If not, could you suggest me something that would? Any help would be appreciated, as I'm not too experienced in matching RAM.

You should go for 2x8 for 16GB in dual channel. Also try to go for something with heat spreaders! Mix and matching RAM is not something I know alot about, but if I were you I would scrap your current sticks and get new identical ones

 eGPU Setup: Macbook Pro 13" 16GB DDR3 RAM, 512GB SSD, i5 3210M, GTX 980 eGPU

New PC: i7-4790k, Corsair H100iGTX, ASrock Fatal1ty Z97 Killer, 24GB Ram, 850 EVO 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD, GTX 1080 Fractal Design R4, EVGA Supernova G2 650W

I don't really see the value in doing that when I already have one 2x4 kit, getting new ones would only raise the cost. Not too sure about heat spreaders either with the clearance of my CPU fan.
