What is the difference between the Club 3D Royal Ace, Royal King, and Royal Queen GPUs? At first I thought it was simply that the Ace was the 290, 290X. The King was the 280, 280X, and the Queen was the 270, 270X. After looking at the Club 3D website I found that that isnt the case. Anyone know what the difference between them are?

As you go up (royalQueen > royalKing > royalAce) you get:

  • Higher factory overclock
  • Better GPU cooling solution

Example:

R9-290X royalKing --> 1030MHz GPU Core speed , 5000MHz effective Mmemory speed, double-slot 2-fan cooler

R9-290X royalAce --> 1050MHz GPU Core speed , 5400MHz effective Mmemory speed, triple-slot 3-fan cooler

R9-280 and R9-280X are different cards. So goes for the R9-270 and R9-270X.

Like the older naming convention, HD 7950 and HD 7970.
