Phone won't turn on

Hey guys, so today my phone wouldn't want to turn on at all! So I took out the battery and then after about 10 minutes put it back in. However, Lg has an animation on my phone and it only got about half way then it died. I tried connecting it to my charger (both with and without the battery) and it had no affect. can somebody please help me? (My phone is a super ghetto LG Motion)

Put it in rice but it doesn't have water damage.

Try charging the battery while it's not in the phone? Typically when taken out the battery "regains" some of it's power and that explains the boot until the animation. Your charger might be dead or the micro usb might be damaged on your phone.

you phone is not charging properly. get a different USB cable and a wall adapter. let it charge for about 1hr or so. because once its completely drained it takes a while to fill up a Lithium-ion battery. then turn it on.
