This guy, although blunt (and perhaps a little rude) is right. You can build an amazing windows machine and edit on premiere pro and produce music in another application. Video editing in iMovie is the farthest thing you can get from professional.

 

I wasn't being blunt or rude, I asked him why he needed those two programs in particular. I was facepalming at his answer as both times he seemed to overlook what I was actually asking.

 

It's either that, or he was being sarcastic with me.
