Windows 7 USB Boot Drive

HoVenom

I want to install Windows 7 into my new pc with a usb drive since I did not buy a dvd for my new pc. So I want to know if 3.72 GB's is enough for Windows 7 to be stored on it so I can boot on it in my new pc.

Check microsoft.com they'll tell you your system requirements

Follow the topics you create using the "Follow" button in the top right corner!

One day I will have my GTX 970. One day. PC specs are at my profile.

Not sure how to check what part works with what? Check out my compatibility guide!

Should be enough. Win7 ISO are around 3 gigs or so. However, Microsoft recommends a 4GB stick for this, so no guarantees.

Need links or you already have the ISO and the usb tool thingie?

From Microsoft Store:

What size USB flash drive is required?

You need a USB flash drive with a minimum of 4 GB of free space.

- Guess you need more... but try and see. Here is a link to the site where you can download the tool for making the USB-copy of the installation files:

Should work. The ISOs are all 3.09GB big.
