Preferably I was going for a mATX system

Here you go then

Motherboard: ASRock H97M PRO4 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($81.98 @ Newegg)
Case: Corsair 350D MicroATX Mid Tower Case  ($79.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $502.92
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

My current system is a couple years out of date other than my graphics card and RAM which are an EVGA 750ti FTW and 8GB RAM. My budget is 500-600 US dollars. This system will primarily be used for playing games but I would like the ability to use this system for video editing.

Good for video editing & gaming. mATX and within budget. Alternative buy a 4690K, sell your 750ti and get a R9 280X or something.

No SSD though which is a shame, do you have a current HDD you can use and just buy a M500 instead?
