First and foremost... Hi to the forum community since this would be my very first post here :D

I would just like to ask about any kind of feedback from the rig that I currently have in mind (suggestions, pros/cons, compatibility?, etc.)

1. Budget & Location

Location: Philippines

Budget: 50-60k PHP or $1,200 - $1,300 US Dollars

2. Aim
Gaming (MMORPG e.g. Dragon Nest, FPS e.g. CoD, Tower Defense?: e.g. Heroes of the Storm) PC and a little bit of photo/video editing (e.g. Adobe Lightroom)

3. Monitors
Currently, I have no specific monitor in mind, I would like also to ask for suggestions in this regard (See [specification] section) and most probably I would only use 1 monitor.

4. Peripherals
I only plan on buying a monitor, I already have a keyboard and mouse that I used with my laptop. Operating System would Windows 7 SP1 x64

5. Why are you upgrading?
I have been using a laptop (Toshiba Qosmio F50) and due to it on maybe being too old... it overheats fast (especially when gaming) so I cannot play any games anymore. Tried using a laptop cooler to no avail... Loading time on applications and even just opening the browser also takes time and I recently just reformatted so I'm assuming that it should be a bit faster than before.

Thank you in Advance!

To me that looks fairly good, though I'd ask a couple questions:

What games do you plan on playing (if that's your intention)? You could probably get away with a 4670K (but I don't know the price difference between them where you're buying).

As for the two graphics cards, it's mostly down to cooler design. I'd pick one based on colour scheme, airflow in your case, price or just a favourite brand.

For a monitor, I don't know exactly what $100 gets you (assuming it's USD and not CAD or AUS), but based on the fact that UK pricing seems to be almost 1:1 you'd struggle to get something from a reputable brand.

However, pushing the budget to $120 or so might get you something

That's quite an expensive motherboard for a mid-tier desktop, use an MSI Z97-G45 Gaming or Gigabyte Z97X UD3H

My current rig for entertainment/gaming: i5 4570 3,2GHz; MSI B85M-E45; ZOTAC GTX760 AMP!; 8GB (2x4GB) by Kingston; Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200rpm; Corsair 200R, Corsair VS650; Dell U2312HM, Samsung DVD R/W optical drive; CM Devastator; Corsair MM400 gaming pad

Kabayan!

Fellow countryman.

Subukan mo sumilip sa Gilmore, kung malapit ka...

Try the shops at Gilmore, if you're close by...

Para sa monitor Samsung Series 3 (di ko sigurado yung model number), kasi yun yung madaling hanapin...

For the monitor, I suggest a Samsung Series 3 (not sure about the model number), since it's easier to find...

P.S.

Fellow forum members, pardon the lines in Filipino... Subtitles are included...
