Pre-built PC plan

Go to solution Solved by PokémonTrainerFour,

There are 2 PCs on Aria.co.uk that I found pretty desirable. The only caveat is that, as far as I can tell, the graphics cards are running stock, which is kinda bad. Still impressive spec.

I would personally choose the 8350 because it has a 290, but the 280X isn't a slouch with the 4690K. You would be surprised what you can squeeze out of the 8350.

Hello everyone!

Please keep in mind i'm from the UK

I'm going to be using a pre-build service in order to purchase a computer - but wait, why not just build it yourself? Simple, I just don't want the hassle of putting it together and risks of screwing it up. I know I know there's plenty of guides here, but I still do not trust myself that far, especially since I've only owned Laptops in my past and currently, well, this one isn't working to well and is soon to die out.

Currently I'm using PC Specialist to select parts with pricing, however, if anyone else has another recommended pre-built site to use, I can take any into consideration.

I'll be saving up for a long time, as my income is negligible, most of the money coming towards this build, is actually coming from a friend, otherwise this would never happen. So keep in mind that it is difficult for me to justify higher expenditure.

Here is the build;

Let me know if you can find bottlenecks/issues with the build, and perhaps ways on improving it.

A 4690K and a 270X isn't the most optimal build.
Just find a service that lets you configure a PC and adds a small fee for building like NCIX.

I was considering replacing the CPU perhaps with an alternative, perhaps from the AMD series. The FX-8350 was what I had an eye on, much cheaper, however would that still be a less than desirable choice with the setup?

Also thank you for your reply

It's still quite imbalanced.

I'll see what I can make for you from a prebuilder.

Thanks you :)

I should mention this setup is just for Gaming in honesty. If it can push past 50 FPS on most games on med-high, i'm happy. Currently sitting on a laptop with sub 12 FPS, this is a much needed improvement.

Both of those look pretty darn nice. I'm specially looking at that 290 as it looks superb. I'm going to have a little look at these so I'll pre-apologise if some extra feedback takes me a while.

The 290 come with an after market cooler, which is interesting :)

Unfortunately the 290 package does not come with a operating system :'(

It's not much on G2A. 20 pounds at most.

Well, I believe I'll have to keep a full eye on Aria whilst saving the money towards this system.

You sir have been a great help to me for recommendation, and I couldn't thank you enough.

I'll probably settle with the Intel bundle as I have myself more familiarised around Intel CPUs and trust them more than AMD - not to say they aren't worth the trust of course, just through personal preference.

This is solved unless I need to come back in the future, and if that is the case, I may just personally contact you, if you don't mind.

Again, Thank You!
