i5 4590 mobo

Go to solution Solved by Jade,

Asus H97 Plus. That'll be a large consensus.

Hey all I'm currently building a new rig but I don't know what mobo to choose for, could you guys help me out? My build should be good for casual gaming with games (dayz, csgo, gmod, dota2) and frequent PS-ing, little illustrator and video rendering. Budget is not a problem yet, just need to determine which fits best. Or do you guys have other suggestions towards my build? Thank you biggrin.gif  My specs below:

CPU - Intel Core I5 4590
MOBO - ?
RAM - HyperX Fury Red — 8GB Kit (4GBx2) 1600Mhz
HDD - WD 1TB Caviar Blue HDD
SSD - Samsung 840 EVO 120GB
Chasis - Bitfenix NEOS Casing
PSU - Seasonic M12II-520 Watt
GPU - Nvidia GTX 650

I'm currently looking at basic and gaming H97 boards or should I get a H8 series but I hope to get Intel lan.
Which do you suggest or another?

ASRock H97 PRO4
ASRock H97 Killer
ASRock H97 Performance

MSI H97 Gaming 3

Asus H97-PRO GAMER
Asus H97-PLUS

Gigabyte GA-H97-Gaming 3
Gigabyte GA-H97-HD3

I leaning towards Asus H97 Plus and ASRock H97 Pro4, so many brands and models make me indecisive, what are your suggestions? Thanks for helping me in advance.

Yeah, been told everywhere, but I still wanna see, if this thread is gonna go with 80% Asus H97 Plus, I'm gonna get it lol.  :D

didn't have any experience on their boards so I don't really know if it's good xD

EDIT: I suggest that you get a 270 or 270x (you can get an msi twin frozr one) then choose between the msi and asus pro gamer for color matching. :D
