Go with the AMD CPU and stick a mild overclock on it.

If youre purely gaming i would go with an intel option, however i dont understand why the Xeon. I would say 4690k or a 4790k.

I would also recommend the Samsung 840 over the Crucial SSD.

Would you consider a 280x over a 770? Depends on what you play but 3gb of vram is very nice.

The Crucial is a good SSD, although the Samsung is only $7 more so it is worth swapping.

Nothing wrong with AMD for a lower budget. For a $1.5K build though, then yeah Intel is the way to go.

80c on idle

should 520w be enough for i5 build?

Go for something like the Rosewill capstone 550W. That should be plenty for a single gpu.

Or if you want a bit more headroom, then go for the 650W version.

Is this better ?

Go back to the 620W psu. It is not that much more expensive and provides more headroom for expansion and a decent allowance for aging.

Personally I liked the Intel Xeon build. It is a more powerful system than an i5. But if you want to overclock then the unlocked i5 is fine.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
