Which cooling setup to choose?

Go to solution Solved by Shaqo_Wyn,

I want to go watercooling but my budget is not that high so I have been searching for relatively low cost WC choices, these are the ones I have come up with:

Alphacool NexXxos Cool Answer 360 DDC/XT 200 EUR

Alphacool NexXxos Cool Answer 360 D5/XT 250 EUR

Go with one of these two. As good as custom kits come IMO, the EK 360X Kit is also a good one.

The DDC pumps are powerful little pumps, I wouldn't call them noisy. Just not as quiet as a D5. If you plan to seriously expand on this loop in the future (add two GPU's, more rads etc. I recommend you go with the D5 now).

I want to go watercooling but my budget is not that high so I have been searching for relatively low cost WC choices, these are the ones I have come up with:

Swiftech H320 165 euro's

Phobya pure performance kit 360LT 175 euro's

Alphacool nexXxos cool answer 360 ddc/xt 200 euro's (I have heard that the DDC pump included is very noisy, is that true?)

Alphacool nexXxos cool answer 360 D5/XT 250 euro's

EK-Kit l360 220 euro's

Is the Phobya kit any good or would going with the h320 be a better choice? If so, is the pump on the h320 noisy if you turn it down to the lowest setting?

Are the other kits (EK or alphacool) worth it over the phobya/h320 in terms of price?

And is the alphacool D5 kit worth it over the DDC kit in terms of price/quality.

Noise is my main concern, I know they all cool very well (copper 360mm rads(not sure about phobya rad material)).

Thanks in advance  ~Robijn112

just do what I always do and go for the second cheapest item from my list of choices so I don't seem like a cheapskate

Thanks man, I will be going with the alphacool DDC kit then since I would only add a single gpu (and maybe a 120 rad if totally necesarry) in the future.

You're welcome :), I recommend you add a 240 or 360 rad when you add that GPU in the future. It'll give you great noise-to-performance.
