Hello members of LinusTechTips, I want a gaming pc build for less than $2000 that can run games like Bf4, Crysis 3, Titanfall, and Metro on Ultra settings in 1080p resolution. Also, $2000 with Windows 7 Home Premium and able to use Nvidia's Shadowplay or AMD's Catalyst Recording.

- And 1 SSD For gaming.

- 1 HDD for Storage.

Make the SSD 250GB as opposed to 500GB and make the 1TB HDD a 2TB one. I would also get an ASUS maximus Hero VI/VII as opposed to the PRO.

Edit: Also http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gskill-memory-f31866c9d16gxm has higher frequency AND lower latency AND is cheaper. Get those as opposed to the HyperX ones.

Edit: As for the R9 290's I would take Sapphire Tri-x over any other brand any day.

Dual GTX 780's will pretty much be what you're looking for but that is heaps more expensive.

Yea but crysis 3 on ultra is demanding, 1080p or not. GTX 780 Ti averages out on 61 on the High preset not ultra (http://media.bestofmicro.com/5/1/408421/original/crysis-fr.png) so you would need dual card for 60 fps unless you are willing to drop down to High settings.

Would recommend that, you could of course go with the 4790k but only if you need te multi threading for editing/rendering

Might wanna look what I'm referring to before being so condescending...buddy. MattP123's build was up earlier and that uses CAS 10 which IS slower than CAS 9. Don't insult my intelligence or anyone else's intelligence for that matter. 99% of the people here know that lower CAS = better.

1. Refrain from using profanity in situations like this, you can lose respect from others.

2. Are you still that oblivious that I must state it directly? MattP123's build has CAS 10 RAM. My suggestion of the G.SKILL memory with CAS 9 WAS A SUGGESTION TO REPLACE THE CAS 10 RAM THAT MATTP123 PUT IN THE BUILD. IT WAS NOT A SUGGESTION AGAINST THE CAS 7 MEMORY YOU ARE REFERRING TO IN DAVSMITH4'S BUILD!
