Budget Gaming PC

A friend of my brother recently asked me to put him together a gaming system for around $600. After much consideration and debate, I think I've decided on this:

What do you guys think? He already has a case, so that's why there isn't one.

Is there anything I should change before ordering it? If so, what?

Thanks for your help.

Also, one thing that I should mention is that the CX 430 power supply isn't definite because I may give him my CX500 if I get a new one (which I might do today).

Two things..

A) i love your pic! lol

B) That looks like a fantastic build for that price point but dont forget to factor in your windows key monitor and peripherals if he needs that stuff

I thought about a similar build, but the Athlon CPU can't even be compared to any modern i5.

He already has all of that stuff, so that's not a big deal.

That's a fairly nice build.

Just be sure to take care of your machine so it can last at least 10 years.

By then you'd have a lot of cash saved up and you can buy some of the future technology this world can come up with.
