Minimum CFX R9 290's

So im looking into cfxing 290's. There both PCS+'s, wich are three fan and just beasts. Im also running a 4770k that im going to OC the hell out of as well as the cards. For the CPu cooler im using a dark rock pro 3 push pull, you think 850 will be enough?

Yeah it's enough. However with super heavy OCíng ( CPU 4.6GHZ+ and both gpu's +200MHZ core speed and +200 Memory speed.) it could easaly exceed 850W. So try to keep the overlocks within reason and use as little volts as possible.

As long as it's a 80+ Gold rated PSU from a trusted brand ie: Corsair, XFX, be quiet!, EVGA, SeaSonic, Fractal, etc. your all good but scince your OCing pretty hard I'd get a AX860.

Im gonna OC the GPU as hard as possible, the cpu just enough so im not bottlenecking, wanna keep that longevity.

4770K will bottleneck dual 290's even at 4.6GHZ+

There is a thread on the forum ( you do the research lol) that 3930K bottlenecks dual 780's. 3930K is better CPU and 780 is worse so you do the math 1+1=2.

Also, i think that it still depends on the game, if game is cpu intensive that would look that it is bottlenecking the gpu.

850w is enough as long as you dont OV
