University Choice Help

Okay guys I need some help. I'm having last minute regrets and wondering if anyone could help me. My current choices for uni are Lancaster and Essex (colchester campus). Lancaster being my top choice, however, I feel like I might not get the grades and my second choice is feeling a little less appealing now. If I don't get in to Lancaster, should I go to Essex having never been there? What do you think about Essex university (does it look good) Thanks!

 

P.S. Does Swansea university look better? It has the same requirements (the downside to this being I would have to take a gap year)
