Is it my idea or things like 3-sec violations and kick violations and things like that only happen to the human player, the player? I have seen the cpu standing in the paint for like 5 seconds (in-game from the shot clock counted them) and thye did not get the violation.

I also feel like my team would have a score of D- or F because well, they defend fuck all (3 point shooters from the otehr team are left open and not pressured when have the ball)

Also that scoring system they have (A+ to F thingy) is not really good at telling you how good you are...

You loose massively if you let the guy you are protecting score a point, and get nothing for setting up a score or score your self...

Also the who you should defend things sucks, plain and simple, half way through someone going for a layup the game changes to him (while you are defending another guy that you are told to defend at the start) and you loose all your hard work of getting that shitty rating system up.

I've played quite a lot of 14 (80+ hours) AI controlled players can get violations although it doesn't seem to be often. Regarding the scoring system a lot of it relies on what role as a player you're playing (PG/C/F etc) just make sure you're playing to the role specified and you'll have no problems with the rating system.

I've played the game quite a bit, the game has its problems but you shouldn't be bothered too much if you get "bad feedback" for not defending a guy that you got switched to at the last second.

I usually play NBA games as PG just so I can have the ball more and call plays and such. Just try to play as well as you can and always try to get the A+ rating so you can get bit more SP, but otherwise don't pay too much attention to that.

I also tend to get a lot of kicked ball violations and tipped passes that go out of bounds, since I'm pretty much always trying to steal the ball.

I also dont understand the positions a lot, i just picked a random thing... I tried 2 things, a guy that can do 3pt shooting and with even alone and excellent release (3pt shoot is at like 75) and he misses it all the time, and i get a bad shot selection.

Not trying to offend, but do some research learn the roles of each position, and the rules of basketball in general and you'll understand the game a lot more. Sadly it's not NBA Jam.

Personally I find the easiest role to play is PG basically a play maker you'll get the ball a lot giving you a lot of options although a lot of people will say SF is a good choice also.
