Ok guys,

I thought i would start this post out with something a little fun for everyone. So to post this i am using this ghetto setup.(yes no pc part list as stuff isnt on there)

ECS P43T-A2 MB

Intel Q6600 with LGA 1156 Stock Cooler Wedged on.

2x1 gig Corsair XMS2 800mhz DDR2

2x2 gig G.Skill 800mhz DDR2

GTX 650

Apevia X-Cruiser(original) Case with variety of random blue and green LED fans in every slot.

Antec True Power Trio 650w PSU

250g Seagate OS drive

500g WD green Storage drive.

So believe it or not this system is working perfectly fine.(Can Game better then my I7 was doing before it broke)

On my system below however PC, just Randomly BSOD with Mem Dump. I have tested ram through MB software, through Memtest86, and by putting it in another system and no errors. Any suggestions you guys might have would be really appreciated. Half of the parts from each PC are the same you will notice only RAM, MB and CPU are different.

ASRock P55DE Pro MB

i-7 860 stock cooler.

4 x 4 gigs G.Skill PC3-12800 DDR3

GTX 650

Apevia X-Cruiser(original) Case with variety of random blue and green LED fans in every slot.

Antec True Power Trio 650w PSU

250g Seagate OS drive

500g WD green Storage drive.

I know that at this point just scrapping all of it and building fresh would be ideal, just going through some tough times and don't have the money.

Defrag and try using the system and see if it happens again.

Tried Defrag, and even fresh install of OS to make sure it wasnt a windows corruption.

Did you run memtest86 on each induviual stick of ram or you just ran it with both sticks in?

This board is weird about posting without atleast 2 sticks so i did it 3 seperate ways. all 4 sticks, 2 sticks in one set, 2 sticks in another set of slots and no matter which combination they always passed.

*Side note all other HW functions flawlessly in the pc im using for posting so i have a good feeling its not OS/HDD related.

how many passes have you done with memtest? and is it posible for you to upload the error codes or the entire dumps

I honestly cant remember that part, about number of passes anyway, I can definitely try and get you guys an upload of the error codes but would take me a little while as i would have to swap out mb setup into this pc then boot back up. Sucks only having one set of everything other then MB/CPU/Ram

The sad thing is i didnt change anything what i did was just unhook psu from my case and use mb box as a test bench for the other mb and left my current pc alone, about all i had to do was take the cooling unit off and switch it to the other mb. Just my luck though. I will have time this weekend to figure out whats causing the short then ill move on from there.

I think im just going to work on getting this as a stop gap so i can do my 8350 upgrade later(I already have all parts except MB, Ram, CPU). Anyone have a suggestion on a case to go with would prefer something with a bottom mount intake as it sits over an AC Vent.
