Motherboard/Cache Help.

Yup im here again because i ran into another problem.

 

Im gonna use, socket 2011 and apparently intel smart response isnt compatible (or so ive been told) and i heard some motherboards have a chip or something that can do the same thing that the intel thing can, (sorry i am not being super in depth) so can someone recommend either a way to get around this or a motherboard that can do this.

Are you talking about a m-sata ssd, such as this one?

I know quite a few Gigabyte motherboards are compatible, but I dont know any motherboards that fit your criteria off the top of my head.

Also, rog boards do meet the black and red criteria.

Even though it doesnt fit your criteria, this thread suggests the ASUS P9X79 DELUXE has a seperate caching feature specific to x79: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/276364-32-benefit-dual-asus-p9x79-deluxe-2011-intel
