Hi there,

I recently just got 2 Corsair SP120 fans for my Hyper 212 Plus heatsink, and I've tried specifying "Minimum Temperature and Percentage", and "Maximum Temperature and Percentage" values in my BIOS, but these fans are still quite loud.

I have an ASUS P8Z68-V LX motherboard and a generic Antec Earthwatts 750W PSU.

Any suggestions as to how I can effectively control the RPM? My Corsair 650D has a stock fan controller but I don't know if it'll do much good.

Try plugging the directly to your PSU with fan speed reducer (it's a dongle that comes with your fans).

I remember getting a couple of cables but I didn't bother to read what they were for; I'll give them a try after I get back from work, thanks!

Thanks. Things like this would be quite obvious to people but I'm still relatively new to some aspects of DIY computer builds :)

No worries man, that's what forums like this are for :)
