So when ever the guys and i try to play Super Smash Brother Brawl on the dolping emulator, the sound randomly pauses snap buzzes you name it. Ive tried things people on other forms have posted to fix this, but nothing has even effected it. It happens on some other games on dolphin too.

Thanks,

Have you seen the FAQ section on the Dolphin web page about :

"Audio doesn't work properly

Not all games have correct working audio yet, it's still in development."

If so and your whole system is having audio trouble than what are your system specs..and how do you connect your speakers and or headphones..?

Your best effort is the easiest thing to give to someone else..

It rarely happens on mine but it does happen.

I find that if I exit the match it will fix it.

Also what version of dolphin are you using? I'm using 3.0-199-dirty (that's what it says on the top of the thingo bar)

ok my rig

3770k

asusz77pro

16Gb ram

7950 video card

800watt psu

120gb SSD (boot drive)

*2 1TB HDD raid 0 (games, including emulators, roms, iso, ect)

windows 7 *64

My set up is all in my living room. video card-HDMI-7.1reciver-hdmi-tv.

Im starting to suspect its not entirely an isolated thing. It did a similar thing in my ps2 game. All my steam/origin games all work perfectly, including youtube and pretty much everything else. Every once in a while ill lose audio all together and have to fix the sound control panel settings. Im kinda lost at this point, any advice would be great.

Also Im running Dolphin 3.5, ive tried other versions with no changes.

I use a CMStorm Sirus USB headset and have had issues with switching between 44mhz and 48mhz sample rates..it would lose audio..but just for a second or so..and not very often..I could not find a trigger for the loss of sound..but I isolated the DIN style connector..(I tied the wire down) and it has been awhile since the sound cut out ..it may be worth a look at isolating the cable ?

Could be the cable..but maybe the connector on the GPU or audio system. If you move the HDMI cord around does the audio drop off..? OR cause a static sound on the receiver..?

Have you still got your analog sound driver for your system loaded..?
